Do you see yourself as an instrument for the divine, called to a purpose greater than yourself? If so, Ember is your sanctuary, crafted for conscious leaders like you, who embrace the sacred responsibility of bringing the light in dark times.

In the still, fertile, darkness of winter, we gather to listen to the quiet wisdom that lies within. Ember is an opportunity to harvest the lessons of the past year, to know ourselves anew, to make peace with and tell new stories, and to illuminate the path that lies ahead.

The Fertile Darkness

Everything we experience in our lives is a reflection of what’s in the ‘unseen’ world. It’s what you cannot see that will make or break you in this life. It is your responsibility to illuminate what is hidden in the dark such that it doesn’t cause unnecessary challenges or suffering in your life. And, it is your sacred right to work consciously with these energies such that you’re guided in life and have everything you need to be happy, healthy and wealthy. We gather at Ember to get quiet and see what’s beyond your current day-to-day experience of effects, to illumine the cause.

Integral Success requires self-reflection.

This is the essence of Ember, a 3-part ritual series designed to guide you through a process of reflection, connection, and invocation. We reflect such that we are prepared to step forward with grace into the new cycle of the year ahead.

What will the next turning of the year bring into your life?

Let's explore this question together in our guided contemplative, ritual series. This is an opportunity to connect with your inner self and invoke the sacred, wholeness, inspiration, and peace into your life and leadership.

Our Journey Together:

  1. Center, Harvest and Release: Dive into the depths of your subconscious and reflect upon your year, release patterns and habits that hold you back, and embrace the liberating light of truth.

  2. Connect and Clarify: Define your desires, stoke the embers of inspiration, and envision who you want to become in the next chapter of your life.

  3. Invoke and Commit: In our final gathering, 'The Invocation', you'll make a sacred vow to yourself, setting your intentions for 2024 with clarity and passion. You will connect with your future self and the archetypal wisdom of this year, to bring renewal and new beginnings.

In the philosophy of Luminous Leadership, we identify 12 disciplines as essential to being an extraordinary leader. In my Harvard grad program, I am studying leadership, with a focus on integrating the key aspects of Transformational Leadership, Servant Leadership, Values-Based Leadership, Authentic Leadership and Relational Leadership. In Luminous Leadership, we integrate the sacred into our practice, recognizing that to lead is to be a “lightworker”—an instrument for the divine.

The first discipline, which is the first step in emotional intelligence and key to all the current leadership styles that are successful, is self awareness / self reflection.

Ember is a day devoted to this discipline.

In a busy and loud world, self reflection easily get’s overlooked. Sure, we’re always thinking, but this is very different than taking meaningful time to really connect with yourself.

In our half-day immersion, we will review our life to see what’s working and what’s not working. We will get clear about what’s in the way of our next level in life; or what’s been diminishing our peace or power. We will reflect on the choices we’ve made and become more aware of their impacts, so that we are empowered in our choice to make decisions that create the intended ripple of impact we want in our lives (personally and professionally).

As the year turns to a close, this is essential work to be able to start fresh, not repeat patterns, and be able to go where you’ve never gone before! To have something new, you have to be new.
First, you have to see where you are and where you’re going.

The 12 Disciplines of Luminous Leadership

Why the Stag Symbolism?

Stag symbolism and meanings include stamina, grace, instincts, maturity, regeneration, and spiritual enlightenment. The stag is mature and experienced, having endured life’s challenges, and he has a massive crown of antlers to show for it. This is about crowning ourself and honoring the wisdom we’ve received from navigating life over the past season. The stag is honored and respected, claiming his domain.
It’s time we recognize that we have dominion over our kingdom, and become the awake, aware, mature leader that is a Sovereign Creator.
One of the things that sets the stag apart from other alpha animals, like the wolf, bear, or shark, is that the stag also embodies grace. He is non-aggressive unless provoked.
The stag is the archetypal strong, silent type.

A normally peaceful spirit, the stag will not back down if confronted. He reminds you to stand your ground if needed. At the same time, the stag can swiftly and elegantly get away from negative situations before his enemies can even blink their eyes.

We are cultivating strength and fortitude, with grace.
Quieting down the busy mind so we know what’s worth standing for.
